We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and People Operations Manager to join our team at Performativ. This is a new full-time role that combines ownership of our finance operations with building out the foundations of People Operations at Performativ, working closely with the COO.

The role is split roughly 70% finance and 30% people operations. Finance is the primary identity of the role. People operations is a growing second pillar, focused on building foundations and automating them rather than running manual HR admin.

You will work in a tech-driven environment where much of the heavy lifting is already automated, using modern tools, proprietary systems and agentic workflows to keep both the financial engine and the people foundation running smoothly.

What you’ll do 📈

Finance (70%)

• Manage and maintain financial records in e-conomic, ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Help send out invoices from multiple entities

• Oversee VAT, payroll and other Danish tax related filings and deadlines

• Review and reconcile accounts, invoices and transactions

• Collaborate with the leadership team to provide financial insights and reports

• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning

• Identify opportunities for further automation using no-code tools or scripts

• Ensure smooth integration between our proprietary systems and financial workflow

• Work with our auditors to pass audits in a timely fashion

People Operations (30%)

• Support the COO in building the People Operations foundation at Performativ, with a strong bias towards agents and self service tools over manual process

• Run Performativ and COO quarterly goal planning and tracking

• Own performance review cycles

• Set up recruiting processes and manage contracts

• Plan and run all company meetings, including cadence and structure

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes

• Administer HR policy and keep the company handbook up to date

• Handle light touch employee lifecycle admin such as contracts, changes and leave tracking

Across both sides of the role, the approach is build the foundation, then automate it. You will be trusted to take direction from the COO and align tightly to strategy, while operating independently in execution. Close supervision on day to day delivery should not be needed.

What we’re looking for 🎯

• Native or near native fluency in Danish, and high professional fluency in English. Danish fluency is a hard requirement and is non negotiable, since internal Danish tax, payroll and legal work depends on it. English is required for internal documentation and cross border stakeholders

• Solid experience of Danish VAT and tax rules and accounting principles

• Solid experience using e-conomic for bookkeeping and reporting

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Comfortable working independently once direction is set, with a bias towards self service and automation over manual process

• Proactive problem solver with a willingness to learn new tools and processes

• Comfortable taking on people operations foundation work such as goal tracking, performance cycles, recruiting set up and company meetings, without needing a traditional HR generalist background

• Familiarity with agentic software development (Lovable, Claude Code) and/or Python is a bonus

• Bonus: ability to start quickly
